What is a behavior?
1. Actions or Events
2. Can be seen (observed), counted (measured), and repeated.
Developing a BIP/BSP
The teacher identifies the problem behavior and screens for it. If the behavior terminates, all is well in Zion. If not, the teacher proceeds to conduct a functional assessment which leads to the development of a behavior support plan.
Fun facts for you:
- Any type of reinforcement causes the behavior to increase.
- "Daydreaming" can be described by being "passively off-task."
- ABC analysis stands for Antecedent Stimulus, Behavioral Response, Consequence Stimulus
