ABC Observation
1. Identify a Target Behavior... that you know you can change
What is a behavior?
1. Actions or Events
2. Can be seen (observed), counted (measured), and repeated.

Developing a BIP/BSP
The teacher identifies the problem behavior and screens for it. If the behavior terminates, all is well in Zion. If not, the teacher proceeds to conduct a functional assessment which leads to the development of a behavior support plan.

Fun facts for you:
  • Any type of reinforcement causes the behavior to increase.
  • "Daydreaming" can be described by being "passively off-task."
  • ABC analysis stands for Antecedent Stimulus, Behavioral Response, Consequence Stimulus
